Laila Dalseth (born 6 November 1940 in Bergen, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz singer, known for numerous recordings and international cooperation and regarded as one of the leading Norwegian Jazz singers.

After an early debut in her hometown Bergen, she was active on the Oslo jazz scene, among others on releases with Kjell Karlsen. Egil Kapstad and Helge Hurum's big band. Dalseth record debuted with Metropol Jazz (1963), participated in «Stokstad/Jensen Trad.Band» (73-75), in a band with Per Borthen Swing Department (1976).

Dalseth was awarded Buddyprisen 1976, in addition to three times awarded Spellemannprisen (Grammy) and a string of other attractive prizes.

The album Glad There Is You (Grammy in 1978) are in 2 parts: first she workes in Taolent studio with musicians like Frode Thingnæs, Roy Hellvin, Einar Iversen and Knut Riisnæs to mention a few, followed by a live session from Oslo Concert Hall with The Swedish Team: Arne Domnerus, Bengt Hallberg, Claes Rosendal, Rune Gustavsson, Georg Riedel and Egil "Bop" Johansen.
